Ophthalmology and scientific technology - Healgoo Interactive was invited to participate in the 3rd Asia Pacific Tele-Ophthalmology Society (APTOS) symposium

From July 7th to 8th, 2018, Healgoo Interactive was invited to participate in the 3rd Asia Pacific Tele-Ophthalmology Society (APTOS) symposium in Singapore, focusing on the progress of application of Big Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the field of ophthalmology. Experts and industry elites from all over the world started a two-day exchange and discussion.

The APTOS symposium is a grand meeting of ophthalmology and scientific research. Not only the artificial intelligence experts from world famous companies such as Google and NVIDIA attended the conference, The organizer invited well-known scientific research scholars and ophthalmologists from Singapore, the United States, China, Thailand and other regions to give a wonderful keynote speech and insightful discussion about how AI can be used in clinical applications such as diagnosis, prevention and treatment of ophthalmic diseases, especially in underdeveloped regions and countries. Professor Mingguang He (Healgoo Interactive Chief Scientist) from Zhongshan Ophthalmology Center, Sun Yat-sen University and University of Melbourne was also invited to give a keynote speech on "Application of Artificial Intelligence in the Real World Screening" at the conference.

On this event, Healgoo Interactive presented the company's advanced technologies and achievements on ophthalmology, including Eye Grader (with built-in AI module) - China's largest remote diabetic retinopathy screening platform, Deep Fundus - an AI-assisted diagnostic system covering 4 kinds of common eye diseases (diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, cataract, age-related macular degeneration) and a total of 12 predictive models for ophthalmology, and Healgoo ML - an online AI training platform to assist researchers and data scientists to build state-of-the-art machine learning models.
